Kimberly Baeth, founder of Golden Openings and current president of Cutting Edge Success, has been named Business Record’s 2025 Woman of Influence Business Owner of the Year sponsored by Iowa State University’s Ivy College of Business. This prestigious award honors Baeth's exceptional leadership, innovation, legacy and decades-long impact on business development across the country.
A proud Iowa State University alum, ’89-’93, Baeth is widely known for building Golden Openings, a business she began from nothing that became a global leader in grand opening and business celebration services. Over the years, her visionary leadership helped launch thousands of business milestones — from inventing several ceremonial scissors, ribbon-cutting products, and groundbreaking & ceremonial key products to orchestrating thousands of high-profile corporate events.
After selling Golden Openings, Baeth launched Cutting Edge Success, a digital-forward agency that helps businesses grow by embracing AI, automation, and marketing transformation. Through Cutting Edge Success, Baeth continues her mission of empowering entrepreneurs, chambers, and organizations with the tools to thrive in the evolving digital economy. Baeth is also an active public speaker for businesses and educational institutions.
